Deployment & Sovereignty

Your infrastructure, your model, your data boundary.

Run Bixie in our cloud or entirely inside your own environment, with the AI provider you have already approved or one you host yourself. For many organisations this is the question that decides the evaluation, so it is answered plainly here.

Why It Matters

Why It Matters

What changes when you run this at your size.

The data boundary is usually the real blocker

Most AI evaluations in regulated industries do not fail on capability. They fail because nobody can say where the data goes. Bixie can run entirely within your own environment, which turns that from a negotiation into a configuration decision.

Use the model your security team already cleared

Bringing your own model matters more than it sounds. It means the AI provider question is one your organisation has already answered, your credentials stay in your environment, and switching provider later is a setting rather than a migration.

It meets people where they already work

Adoption is where these programmes quietly fail. Bixie is reachable from the web, from a phone, from inside Slack or Teams, embedded in your own product, or triggered from your own systems, so using it does not require anyone to adopt a new habit.

What It Does

What It Does

The detail behind the claim.

The whole platform can run inside your infrastructure. Nothing about the deployment model changes what the product can do, so choosing to self-host is not choosing a lesser version.

Connect the provider you have approved, or a model you host yourself. Your credentials stay in your environment, and changing provider later is a setting rather than a project.

Web, phone, Slack and Teams, embedded into your own product, or started from your own systems. The same processes and the same permissions apply through every one of them.

Where a process involves building or fixing software, that work happens in a sealed environment that is discarded afterwards. It has no standing access to anything else.

Sign-in goes through your existing identity provider, and 5 system roles plus custom roles built from 91 permissions govern what anyone can reach. The rules do not vary by which channel someone came in through.

Worth knowing

  • Self-hosting means you operate it. We support the deployment, but the infrastructure and its uptime become yours.
  • A model you host yourself will usually be slower and less capable than a current frontier model. That is a real trade against data residency, and worth deciding deliberately.
